William Baucom

William Dan Baucom (Danny), 64, of Charlotte, NC

Earned his “Angel Wings” when he passed peacefully on December 11, 2020.

Danny was born on December 20th, 1955 in Fayetteville, NC.

Beloved Son of William Glenn Baucom and Dorothy Mae Baucom

Loving Brother to Sisters Teresa Willis and Glenda Chapman

Cherished Uncle to Kelly Rice, Michael Willis Jr. and Bryan Chapman

Growing up Danny loved to fish anywhere at any time. He loved riding his bike and many other things. He truly loved and had a special connection with animals. He really loved the many dogs and cats he had throughout his life, most recently “Baby” and “Boo Kitty”.

But more than anything he loved Christmas.

He received the greatest gift from God; he got to be an eternal child. He got to have 64 Christmas Eve’s and 64 Christmas mornings with all the magic of a child waiting on Santa to come. Of course he would always sneak in to the living room about 3am to look in his stocking and then quietly back to bed until he couldn’t wait anymore and had to wake everyone else. This year he will be having the best Birthday and Christmas yet, in Heaven reuniting with his family. All joy, no pain and able to walk, run and talk in a body as young as his mind for all eternity.

Rest In Peace sweet Danny until we meet again.
