A Poem -    “I Said Yes”

I received an Invitation to meet my Lord at the Great Coronation!

I Praised HIS Name and thanked HIM with a “YES”. Then closed my eyes in Eternal Rest.

What an Honor to receive in the hour I first Believed!

I asked the Lord to take care of my Wife, He said “Vic, Goodness and Mercy will carry Betty the Rest of her Life! I’ll tell your sister Deadra and your brother June “You’re Rejoicing with ME in the Upper Room!!”

To my children, friends and family “Please don’t mourn and cry for me. My Soul is Redeemed, Hallelujah I AM Free!!!

I was met by my Mother, Edna Torrence who was so excited that I said “Yes” when I got invited to dine with “THE MASTER” and drink from HIS CUP, then HE Called my Name; Victor Torrence and I Got Up!

I’m now part of that “Great Cloud of Witnesses” cheering y’all on. One day I’ll meet you at the Gate to Welcome You Home!

Let your tears be of Joy, not of distress, cause when I was invited I SAID “YES”!!

I Love and Miss y’all too, but I must confess;

If the Lord Invites you, PLEASE SAY YES!!

                        Luv Ya…

                        Later, Vic
