Tammy Diane Lilly

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tammy Diane Dotson Lilly on July 28, 2025. Tammy was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 20, 1960. She was the daughter of the late Larry and Rita Dotson

Tammy grew up in Oak Hill, West Virginia and though her life took her to many places, West Virginia was always home. In 2006, she moved to the Carolinas to be closer to her daughters. Tammy was a loving and devoted mother, nana, sister and friend. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She touched the lives of many with her career as an Executive Director in the Assisted Living community. She built trust and could reach people in vulnerable and tender ways.

She is survived by her daughters Amy Hanna (Grey) of Charlotte, NC, Rachel Rivenbark of Charlotte, NC, grandchildren Caroline and Bennett Hanna and Dylan and Isaiah Rivenbark, sister Dee Dotson of Rock Hill, SC and beloved dog, Hazel. She was predeceased by her parents.

She will be missed greatly.
