CHARLOTTE, NC – Peggy Mitchell, 79, passed away on Sunday morning, January 19, 2020 at Levine-Dixon Hospice House in Huntersville, NC.

Peggy was born on September 16, 1940 in Auburn, IN to the late Robert F Mitchell and Muriel Cox.  She is survived by one brother, James Mitchell currently residing in Colorado.

Peggy lived in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California most of her adult life, relocating to Charlotte, NC in June 1996 with friends Isy Ros and Marianna Dorta.  She will be missed by her many friends in California and Charlotte, but we are thankful that Peggy is now resting peacefully in God’s loving arms after suffering for so many years in pain.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Peggy at 2 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Metropolitan Community Church of Charlotte, 7121 Orr Road, Charlotte, where she had been a member.

All are invited to attend and share stories of Peggy, enjoy music and scriptural readings as well as viewing samples of her arts and crafts.  Snacks will be served after the service.
