LeAnne Elizabeth Snipes

LeAnne E. Snipes, aged 39 of Mint Hill passed away November 28, 2025 at her home. She was born on July 19, 1983 in Columbia, South Carolina. She graduated from American Academy in 2005.

She is survived by one son Justis Tanner Bennett, her mother Hannah Watts Wilson, her father Jimmy Snipes (wife Kathy), her brothers Scott Broadaway (wife Meredith) and Brad Broadaway (wife Amber), her stepbrother Brian Wilson (wife Susan) and stepsister Allison McGee (husband Cliff), her aunt Anne Watts McCormick and uncle George W. Watts Jr. (wife Claudia), along with many cousins. Also survived by her very special person in life Joey Phillips and mother Linda. But Most of all her fur baby Bella Mae!

She was preceded in death by her stepfather Mickey Wilson, her grandparents George and Lib Watts of Wadesboro North Carolina, and Clifford and Robbie Snipes of Lancaster South Carolina, along with her deceased husband Ricky Bennett.

A Drop-In Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday December 7, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at “The Hill” 11232 Lawyers Road Mint Hill North Carolina 28227.
