A lover of life and movement, Immanuel was an active member of a local run club, faithfully joining every Tuesday to challenge himself and cheer on others as well. His passion for football was unmatched — he could talk plays, stats, and players for hours, always with excitement in his voice. He loved the game and was great at playing it. He often dreamed of becoming a professional football player. He also loved to dance and had a special admiration for fraternity strolls, often lighting up the room with his rhythm, energy, and joy. He is survived by his loving parents, Jasmine Guzman (Carlos) and Immanuel Day Sr. (Shajauna); his devoted big sister, Imani; his younger brother, Ilias; his little sister, Imayah; his bonus little sisters, Londyn and Mia, and bonus brother, David. He also leaves to cherish his memory his beloved grandparents, Darlene (Henderson) Washington, Joe Pennyamon, Bertha Robinson, and Steven Day Sr. along with extended family and cherished friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts. Immanuel will be remembered for his kind heart, his radiant smile, protective heart, and the way he made everyone around him feel seen, valued, and loved. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will live on forever in the many lives he’s touched.
