Elaine Banister

Elaine (SweetMama) Nobles Banister, age 69, passed away on May 12, 2022 after a lengthy and courageous battle with liver disease.

Elaine was born March 13, 1953 in Sanford NC. She moved to Charlotte NC at a young age. Elaine was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family. Elaine was a beautiful person, giving, loving, fun, had a good sense of humor, a beautiful singing voice and the ability to lovingly forgive others.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Banister and recently her Mother - Frances Nobles.

Elaine is survived by her children Stephanie Wells (Ben), and Eric Goodin (Gina); her sisters Linda Kinard and Dianne Poston Davis; five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Elaine fought and endured much during her battle with liver disease. While we know she is no longer suffering, we are feeling her loss in a great way.

A celebration of Life Memorial will be held for Elaine on Saturday May 21, 2022  from 12pm - 3pm (with a short service at 1pm) at GraceLife Church of Pineville located at 705 Lakeview Drive, Pineville, NC 28134.
