Born in New York City on August 31, 1932, Dolores passed away peacefully at Charter Senior Living in Charlotte, NC, on July 5, 2025, at the age of ninety-two.
A native New Yorker, Dolores embodied the spirit of her city, embracing its vibrancy and energy. Her passions included playing tennis and staying active. She cherished her independence and loved to travel. She was a model in her younger years, and loved fashion and always presented herself with poise and style.
Above all, Dolores was a loving and devoted mother to her three daughters, offering unwavering support and care throughout their lives. Her warmth extended beyond her family, she cherished her time with friends and enjoyed a social life. Her dry sense of humor always kept us laughing even when she wasn't feeling well. . She loved working at Tiffany's during the holiday season and found joy in Job at The Jewish Museum Gift Shop. She loved art and Volunteering at various museums around the city brought her a sense of fulfillment, allowing her to share her enthusiasm for culture and art.
Dolores is survived by her two daughters, Claudia Stern and Lydia Stern, She is predeceased by her daughter Erica Stern.
