David Kirkpatrick

David Walker Kirkpatrick died 04/21/2017 in Pineville, NC. David was preceded in death by his loving wife Ann and his faithful dog Misty. He is survived by his two children Bryan Kirkpatrick and Sharon Homes, son-in-law Donald Homes, and his grandchildren Paige Kirkpatrick and Matthew Homes. David was a Marine and served his county in the Korean war. Following the war he joined the Charlotte Police Department where he served 32 years. He was most well know for his service while in the Homicide Unit.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Charlotte FOP Lodge, or NC Troopers Association Caisson Unit.
