Cynthia Diane Abernathy

Cynthia Phillips Abernathy of Stanley, NC, passed away

at her home on April 28, 2025. She was born on

September 28, 1952, to R.W and Eunice Phillips. She

worked before retiring as an administrator and data entry

clerk. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who

cherished spending time with her family and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, David

Abernathy, Father R.W. Phillips Jr., and daughter Angel

Clubb.

She is survived by: Mother Eunice Phillips; her son Brian

Clubb Wife Tammy; Her grandchildren, Ashleigh Price

(Aaron), Stephen Clubb, Megan Clubb, Katelyn Abernathy

and Austin Abernathy; her great-grandchildren, Lilah

Clubb, Madeline Clubb, and Carson Wiggins; brother in

law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday,

May 18, 2025, at Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church

located at 208 N. Spargo St., Dallas, NC, with Pastor

Sherman A. Branch officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
