Greg was born on July 5, 1948 in Cook County Chicago, IL.  Graduated from, Elmwood Park High School in 1966.  Graduated from Southern Illinois University Chicago, IL., in 1970 with a BS Degree. Greg became a Captain in the U.S. Airforce in 1971.

Throughout Greg’s career he was employed within the Financial Departments at Lockheed Martin and CTA Corporation. He was a partner of Tatum LLC.  He continued with roles of Chief Financial Officer for numerous companies until he retired in 2011.

Greg’s biggest and most important passion was family.  He was a compassionate man with a big heart.  He loved his family, extended family and friends.

(Kara) He truly cared about people and their well-being, if you were hurt he could feel that hurt and  if you were happy he could feel that happiness, he was an empath at heart, and it was that big heart in the end that would take him on to his next journey.

Greg loved scuba diving which he enjoyed in the British Virgin Islands, Hawaii and Belize. The sea seemed to draw him to the water at every opportunity.  He absolutely loved the Ocean. He went scuba diving in “The Blue Hole” in Belize on one of our trips.

(Jenn) Camping at the beach was one of his favorite things he enjoyed.  We camped with family and friends and really enjoyed life at the beach.

He had a great passion for Photography, on land, sea and underwater. His son Andrew appreciated everything his father taught him about the art of photography.

Greg loved to travel in business as well as pleasure.  He had the opportunity to travel to Indonesia, Singapore, Greece, Spain and Italy as well as within the United States.

Fishing was also something Greg enjoyed.  Deep Sea, Lake and Rivers it was all enjoyable to him.  He always talked about a fishing trip that his grandson Ethan joined him on.  Ethan caught the biggest fish and he won the cash prize.

The holidays were his favorite time of year, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  He always included his family traditions and recipes in every holiday. Surely, Jenn, Kara and Andy will continue these traditions with family and friends.

(Kara) His presence will be missed, his stories treasured, his laughed locked inside our hearts and his passions for family carried on for generations to come. This man was a great man, a kind man, a man that this world could use a lot more of.

Greg was a loving husband, brother, father and grandpa.  We will treasure our memories of Greg in our hearts forever.
