Curtis Wade Hartis "Thumper" of Arden, NC passed away on May 12, 2015 in a work-related accident.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Franklin Hartis. He is survived by his mother, Ellen Mae Henton Hartis, two brothers and a sister, Jerry, Richard, and Angela Hough of Asheville along with many loving relatives.
He was a very loving and caring individual who loved to help others and his favorite sport was wrestling.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 6, 2015, 2:00 PM at Word of Life Tabernacle of Arden, 815 Glenn Bridge Road in Arden, NC. The service will be conducted by Preacher Scott Graham. There will be a reception following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the church.
The family is being served by Carolina Mortuary Service and Cremation of Charlotte, NC.
